We've always had a fondness for the hard-working, long-wearing quality of tweed, but we wanted something a little more refined. Something that was well.....suitable. When we encountered this elegant, Donegal tweed made with a finer yarn, we knew we were onto something. Charcoal and medium grey are woven together, with occasional flecks of white, resulting in a fabric that is easy to wear, but has some color and texture interest. The finer yarns give this fabric a softer hand which complements our fuller, newsboy silhouette. Pull the extra fullness to one side and wear it low for the tough, "Chicago" look. The interior cotton-linen lining features an historical image from the storied era of Prohibition. We’ve got a few in our library so yours may not match the photo, but it’ll be good. Our caps are union-made, right here in the USA, so they’ve got pedigree. Not sure what color to get? Match it to your shoes or if you’re traditional and take your cap off indoors, make sure it compliments your favorite coat.
